| Hello Xanga friends. I realize it has been a very long time, and my life has changed a lot! Since the last message I have spent a week in England, a month in America, a week in Turkey, and been living in Morocco. Also, next week I am going to France to renew my visa. This has definitely been a crazy year! Also, and this is by far the biggest news, I AM ENGAGED! For those of you who didn't realize that I had a significant other this may come as a bit of a shock. I began a relationship with an amazing local guy, whom we shall call Zak, in the beginning of September. I have known him for well over a year now, and got to know him really well during my first year. During May I began to realize that he was the type of man that I wanted to marry, and in September he told me that he was thinking the same way. We spent some serious courtship time over the next few months, and at the end of November we got engaged. Plans are a little crazy right now, so I can't say for sure what we will be doing, but I'll be sure to put out a Xanga invitation to let everyone know when and where the wedding will be. |

| My life here is changing a lot! I am finally settled in my apartment, and so I started looking for a job. It did not take long. I heard about one school where a friend of mine teaches. I went in and told him I would like to teach. He said, "Do you have any experience?" So I told him about my degree and my two years of teaching. Then he asked if I had any questions about the school and if I could start next week. I know I went to college all those years for a reason! So I am going to teach a 3-week intensive session starting next week. I will miss the last day because I am flying to England. After 10 days in England I will return to spend a delightful week with Tim and Mary here my the land I love. After that I have 3 days to pack and get my house ready and I am heading back to the homeland for a month. I have a feeling these next few weeks are going to fly. I have so much to look forward to right now. I love that feeling! |
